elementary k - 5th

Explorers is a place where kids are beginning to explore the ins and outs of their relationship with God. It is a place where kids can ask questions, read the Bible on their own, pray to God, learn about amazing stories and people, and, above all, begin to deepen their relationship with God. In both a large group teaching time and in small groups, kids learn about the things God has done and how that applies to their lives today.

Our Three Key Ideas:

New to Crow River Church? Save time by pre-registering your child(ren) before you arrive on Sunday.

Important Note Pertaining to Covid-19:

In light of all that is happening with Covid-19, beginning Sunday March 15th, and until further notice, there will be no gathering for worship services or weekly programming. Although we are unable to meet in our space, we want to continue to serve and minister to our Elementary families during this time. Explorers uses Orange Curriculum on Sunday mornings for our teaching and we are thankful they are offering everyone access to it during this time. We recommend using the online video experience to worship with your kids and then the parent cue app or online platform for questions and conversation. This is a similar experience to what kids might have each Sunday, and if your Elementary kids are wondering where the So and So Show is, check out the Preteen video. I have attached the Parent Cue Elementary, as an added resource to use this week when talking about forgiveness (our month's theme) with your Elementary student. We will update these links for you and plan to send through our family ministry email weekly as well so if you would like to be added to our email list please contact Shelby.

Click on the Orange Curriculum to find the videos.

Click on Parent Cue for conversation guides and resources on their website.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Shelby our Elementary Director.

Awana: Postponed

elementary wednesday nights

6:00 - 7:30pm

delano elementary school

**Postponed until further notice due to Covid-19.

Although we are unable to meet physically in our space, we thought it would be fun to bring Wednesday nights home to you!

For Sparks (K-2nd), we are challenging you to spend 30 minutes a week walking through a section of your child's AWANA book wherever they may be. The book provides you with fun stories to read together, bible verse memorization, and activities for your kids to do that reinforce what they are learning through scripture.

For TNT (3rd-5th), we have left off on the section 4.2 Agents of Humility. Each week go through and have your child complete the sections “Start Here” and "Explore” and then talk through the discussion questions as a family! At the end of each section there is a memory verse that I would challenge and encourage you to learn alongside your child each week.

Also, Post to Social Media when you do AWANA at home with the hashtag #CRCAWANANight each week and you will be entered in a drawing to win a fun night out as a family each time you post! Drawing will happen on May 4th and the winner will be posted to our Family Ministry Facebook page so be sure to follow!

(If you want access to the audio resources that go along with your child's Sparks book, click HERE and type in the name of your child's book in the search bar)
