Moms in Step

Whether you are a mom of tots, teens, or anything beyond … you are invited to join us for Moms in Step. The mission of Moms in Step is to invest in moms through authentic love and community; to instruct moms on how to be examples of Christ Jesus while finding an identity in Him; to encourage moms to grow in their faith in Christ and equip them to walk in His power as they nurture and teach their children. Our vision is to minister to Moms by providing a loving, safe, supportive place for them to share their honest challenges as women, wives and mothers; to be a place where moms find community and friendship, while experiencing growth spiritually, emotionally and physically.

This winter/spring, we will be going through the study, “Idols of a Mother’s Heart". Read more about this study below...

Even good things can become idols if we give them central importance in our lives. Having children changes everything, and as mothers, we risk looking for life, purpose and meaning in motherhood. While being a mother brings its unique set of challenges, these years of raising children and helping them grow in the nurture and admonition of the Lord provide an opportunity to grow in our own Christlikeness as well. Writing from her own personal experience as a mom, Christina Fox encourages mothers to prayerfully and thoughtfully examine their own hearts, and to let God use motherhood as a means of sanctification.

Habakkuk: Remembering God's Faithfulness When He Seems Silent

Why does God seem silent when I need Him most?

The prophet Habakkuk faced great storms in life. His fears of the future crippled him with doubt and left him questioning God. How is it, then, that he is now a shining example of how the righteous live by faith?

Learn how the storms of life can become opportunities to activate your faith in Habakkuk: Remembering the Faithfulness of God When He Seems Silent. You’ll study the book of Habakkuk—which maybe you’ve never done before!—and discover how remembering is essential to understanding the faithfulness of God. Through daily Scripture, prayer, and meditation, you’ll enter the life of this prophet, and:

  • Gain freedom to express your fear and frustration to God
  • Remember that God is at work—even when He seems silent
  • Increase your capacity to practice the art of waiting on God
  • Learn how to navigate through the storms of life to live free from fear and full of joy

This six-week study provides daily interactive Bible study and an easy-to-use leader’s guide for group participation.

*Due to Covid-19 and spacial constraints, Made+Known gatherings are postposed until further notice.

Made+Known is a once a month gathering for the women of Crow River Church.

Why Made+Known? Our title is inspired by the truth in Psalm 119:73-74: "Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn your commands. May those who fear you rejoice when they see me, for I have put my hope in your word."

Together we'll dive into how being made to know God, made to be known by others and made to make God known shapes our reality. We will do this through a short devotional time, hearing testimonies and praying together.

We typically meet on the second Thursday of each month at Karen Egeberg's studio in Delano. We invite you to come once or come every month. Whatever works for your schedule! We'd love for you to make as many as you can so we can grow in our relationships with Christ and each other. No registration necessary.
