welcome to crow river church

We know joining new communities can be challenging, so we took it upon ourselves to make it as comfortable and effortless as possible for you by gathering all of the basics on this page. It isn't everything, but it's our hope that it is enough for you to feel welcomed and wanted. Thanks for joining us!

One important part of the life of Crow River Church is our Sunday morning worship gatherings. We have 2 worship services every Sunday, 9:00am & 10:30am during the school year and 1 service at 10am during the summer (Memorial Weekend thru Labor Day Weekend). Everyone from across our community meets in the Delano Middle School auditorium (700 Elm Ave E., Delano). Our main entrance is the Delano District Office entrance. Please park in the main parking lot out front of the school. Our Sunday mornings are a space for people to come together, belong and worship.

what to expect:

What's going on? On Sunday morning before you arrive for our 9:00am or 10:30am (10am in the summer) service, volunteer teams and staff are busily preparing the Delano Middle School. Children’s ministry rooms and the student center are also being prepared for you; signs are hung in the community and throughout the school building, anticipating your arrival. Technical teams and musicians are in place for the music team rehearsal. Ushers and greeters prepare to distribute information about us to every guest. Our café team is brewing coffee. Teams are praying for each aspect of the service. Teaching pastors place final notes on their sermons and the Student Ministries staff and support teams finish preparing contemporary, power-packed, interactive services for Jr. High students.

What happens when I get there? You will be greeted by a friendly face and a comforting handshake when you first arrive. Make sure to grab a new person welcome gift at the "New Here" desk. Adults with children will find easy registration stations located just down the hall from the entrance. Relevant and inspiring music typically sets the tone for the services, with an invitation for you to sing along as you feel comfortable. The service is comprised of opportunities for you to explore your faith and deepen your personal relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, music, personal stories, communion sacraments and relevant teaching.

What happens when the service is over? Teaching pastors, prayer team members and other ministry leaders would love to meet you, pray with you or answer any questions you may have. If you're not sure who to ask, locate an usher or speak directly to the teaching pastor at the end of the service. The Information Table provides materials to help you become involved in the various classes, outreach ministries and study groups available within our church.

got kids?

There are few, if any, things at our church that matter more to us than your kids. Whether it be on a Sunday morning, one of our mid-week gatherings, or anything else that is going on...Creating spaces for your kids to thrive and grow into followers of Jesus is why our Family Ministry exists and why we do the things that we do.
